SYTYCD Top 4 Finale Part Two 8/16/07

Hey Everyone..Last Night was the best finale ever....It was two hours long so lets get right into the recap.
The show started with Cat introducing the Top 20 dancers, which was so awesome to see everyone again. Then, Cat came out. Was it just me or was her dress horrible?? It looked like a regular brown dress with a brown TuTu over it..WOW..It was bad lol..
Anyway, the Top 20, then performed Tyce DiOrio's Lion King Routine.
Then, they had the choreographers and judges pick a routine they would like to see performed again and the awesome part was that it was live.

Mary's Pick:
-Pasha and Lauren-Hip Hop
Brandon Norris came out clogging to The Way I Are by Timbaland.
Nigel's Pick:
-Hok and Jaimie-Jazz
Jean Marc's Pick:
-Sabra and Dominic-Hip Hop
Adam's Pick:
-Neil and Sara-Disco
Tiny Dancer Bryan Gaynor performed.

Then, the Top 8 came out and performend Shane Sparks opening group dance.

Wade's Pick:
-Lacey and Danny-Samba
Cat was then handed a card and one of the two were about to get eliminated.

1st Elimination:
Lacey
Then, it was time for the first performer of the night.
Nicole Scherzinger performs her new solo song called Whatever You Like from her new album, Her Name Is Nicole.
Shane's Pick:
-Sara and Pasha-West Coast Swing
Tyce's Pick:
-Danny and Anya-Foxtrot
Tony's Pick:
-Sara and Jesus-Pop Jazz
Mia's Pick:
-Sabra and Neil-Jazz

Time for some else to get eliminated from the competition.
2nd Elimination:
Neil
The Top 10 then performed Mia's group number.
Cat and Nigel then had the little "Dance", which totally wasn't then, but was computerized. They made it seem like they were going to be dancing for real lol.

Ryan Cabrera sings I Will Remember You, since a lot of people been asking about the song they play when someone is eliminated.

SYTYCD Top 4 Finale Part One 8/15/07

Hey Everyone...Last Night was Part One of the two part finale and It was crazy awesome...There were a lot of performances, so let's get right into the recap.
Guest Judge Last Night was Dan Karaty.
The Night started off with a Broadway performance choreographed by Tyce Diorio danced by the Top 4.

I thought this routine was soo cute. It was getting freaky in one part with Neil on top of Lacey, but it was still a great performance lol.

Lacey, then performed her solo.

The first couple of the night were:
Sabra && Neil-Hip Hop-Shane Sparks

I have to say I love the song they danced to Whine Up by Kat Deluna. Awesome. The dance was really cute. I don't know why the judges think that Hip Hop always has to be hard hitting. The song they were dancing to isn't a hard hitting type of song. So, I thought they were dancing really and good and I loved it. Also, I was really surprised by Neil and he is so hilarious with his joke about asking Nigel to be British lol.


Second Couple of the Night:
Lacey && Danny-Vienesse Waltz-Jean Marc Genereux

I loved the song they danced to as well. Keep Holding on by Avril Lavigne. Interesting song choice by Jean Marc lol. Besides that, this vienesse waltz was a million times better than Dominic and Jaimie's. It was elegant. It was just beautiful. High Five to Lacey and Danny. Oh and when she hit her head on his goodies. Priceless..

Neil, then performed his solo which was amazing.

Third Couple of the Night:
Lacey && Sabra-Jazz-Wade Robson

WOW...this was just completely weird. I agree with Nigel about Wade shouldn't have experimented on the last performance night. I just didn't get it. I am at a lost for words on this performance for the first time ever HAHA...

Danny, then performed his solo, which got stand ovations for the judges and the crowd.

Fourth Couple of the Night:
Neil && Danny-Contemporary-Mia Michaels

I want to like give Mia Michaels a hug at this point. She totally deserves that Emmy. She has been choreographing some amazing contemporary pieces in the last few weeks, but this one tops them off. First, I have to say that Neil should totally go into acting. He was amazing last night. Them two together was crazy...They were just so awesome. Throwing each other around trying to win that crown lol. I loved it, by far my favorite of the night.

Sabra, then performed her solo.

Fifth Couple of the Night:
Lacey && Neil-Lindy Hop-Nick Williams

Wow..It was the first Lindy Hop of the season and it was good. I liked it alot. I give them props. Neil was sweating under his armpits, but hey that dance took alot of endurance. Who wouldn't be sweating after doing a dance like that? LOL.

Last Couple of the Night:
Sabra && Danny-Cha Cha-Melanie La Patin

I also loved the song they danced to HAHA..It was by Celia Cruz. This dance was really good. I liked it alot. Sometimes, I thought that Danny and Sabra were thinking about the steps instead of letting it just flow with the music, but finally Melanie got to choreograph a routine instead of dancing in one. HAHA. I have to say this wasn't as good as Pasha's cha cha with Jessi and Melanie LOL..

Last Night was a crazy night. I have no idea who is going to win, they are all so good. Im starting to like Danny a little bit more than I used to. So, let me know who do you think is going to win and what performances were your favorite of the night. Make sure to tune in tomorrow for Part Two of the Finale. Also, Ryan Cabrere and Nicole Scherzinger will be performing. Not together lol. The Top 20 will be coming back...YAY...It a two hour show so its going to be great. Oh and the best part is Cat Deeley and Nigel will be doing a dance together. Can't wait to see that. I will do a recap. It will be on, on Friday. Until then, Peace.

SYTYCD Top 6 Results 8/13/07

Hey Everyone...I was really sad about this weeks So You Think You Can Dance eliminations. Let's recap:
They started the show with a group performance to 2:19 by Tom Waits choreograhed by Wade Robson.
The whole time they were performing this routine I had this look on my face like WHAT?!...It was soo weird...especially the outfits..WOW lol..

They had a special guest from the Debbie Allen School to perform. It was pretty ok..After the special guest, each top 6 dancers got to perform a solo again...

Then, they had a routine with Lil' C krumping. It was crazy awesome lol.
Now, it's time to reveal who is the first girl in the finale.
Lacey was the first girl to make it into the finale.
Dannywas the first guy to make it into the finale. This basically means if you have a sibiling that was in last season your going to make it into the top 4. Just my opinion.
Then, Cat had some bad news for the audience. She told everyone since the show will not be airing until monday and they were recording it on Thursday, the audience must leave. That way everyone finds out the results at the same time.
Once, the audience cleared. Cat brought out the two remaining girls. Lauren and Sabra. Cat revealed Sabra has made it into the finale and Lauren will be going home. YAY..I am so happy that Lauren is leaving, but I have to say I did like her solo last night. It was cute.

Then, it was the guys turn. Cat brought out Pasha and Neil and revealed that Neil has made it into the finale. OMG I was so sad that Pasha was leaving he was my favorite. I will love him forever. Now that Pasha is gone I will be voting for Neil..

I have never expected Pasha to be the one leaving, but I did have a feeling once I saw he was in the bottom 2 guys. I am so sad =[

Well, Don't forget to watch Part One of the finale this Wednesday at 8pm Eastern. I will review on Thursday. Until then, Peace.

SYTYCD Top 6 8/8/07

WOW...Last Night would have to be the best Dance Night on the show so far. Well, at least for me it was..The Guest Judge this week was the legendary Debbie Allen..I always love what Debbie Allen has to say...she is just soo funny. So, Let's recap:

First Couple:Pasha && Lacey-Hip-Hop-Dave Scott

I loved this routine. Pasha's got the hang of Hip Hop now. He did amazing on his solo parts and Lacey does a very good mannequin. All the judges agreed it was a great routine..I just loved it haha..

First Solo:Sabra-Rock Your Solo-Elisa

Second Couple:Danny && Lauren-Contemporary-Mia Michaels

This was a amazing routine as well...Lauren and Danny were a great match for this routine. Is it me or does anyone else notice that Danny does a piroutte in every performance, he does. Unless it's Hip-Hop. If you got to YouTube and watch his performances, there will be a piroutte in it. Don't get me wrong he is a amazing dancer, but he needs to do something different..Goodness lol..Another thing I found weird is that when they were running on the top of the steps no one turned around. I know if I was there I would be turning around and watching them lol. Besides that, It was a great performance.

Second Solo:Pasha-Total Eclipse of The Heart-Bonnie Tyler

Third Couple:Neil && Sabra-Jazz-Mandy Moore

WOW..Did Neil look cute as a business man or what??? LOL..I absoulutely LOVED this routine..It was amazing..All the great gymnastic tricks Neil put in it were awesome. Sabra and Neil were probably the best couple of the night for me.

Third Solo:Lauren-Sorry-Maria Mena

Fourth Couple:Lacey && Pasha-Smooth Waltz-Hunter Johnson

This was soo beautiful..I think Hunter is a new choreographer on the show. I was thinking someone like Toni Redpath or Tony Meredith was going to choreographed the smooth waltz, then I saw this new guy and I was like OK. LOL...It was amazing routine though.

Fourth Solo:Neil-Out of my Hands-Dave Matthews

Fifth Couple:Lauren && Danny-Disco-Doriana Sanchez

This dance looked very technical, but I didn't like it that much. The judges seemed to have love it, but I liked Sara and Neil's disco way better. Also, I didn't see the double floor roll thing they were talking about. Maybe they took it out. Who knows lol.

Fifth Solo:Lacey-Le Disco-Shiny Toy Guns

Sixth Couple:Sabra && Neil-Paso Doble-Tony Meredith

WOW..This was my favorite performance of the night. It was completely awesome. I agree with Debbie Allen when she said that when she found out there was a paso doble that night, she didn't want to see it. When I saw it I was amazed at how good it was. Neil also looked very cute for the waist up. The leather pants I wasn't so crazy about. HAHA...I especially loved the ending with her falling like "The Donut". Awesome. Great performance from these two. Also, it was Neil's first time on the Hot Tamole Train..LOL..

Sixth Solo:Danny-The Fear you won't Fall-Joshua Radin

Last Night was amazing. Tell me what were your favorite performances and Least favorite. Also, who do you think is going to be in the bottom. Really hard call, if I do say so myself lol..I will be back on Tuesday with spoilers probably and the results show recap. Until then, Peace.

SYTYCD Top 8 Results 8/2/07

Hello, Hello, Hello...Last Night was the Results show of So You Think You Can Dance. Let's review what happened.
The show started with a Group Performance choreographed by Shane Sparks to Ciara's Get Up.
Then, everyone got to do a solo. It started with:
-Sara dancing to Set it off by Big Daddy Kane -I thought her solo was really great.
-Lacey dancing to Im Doing Everything by Rocket Summer -I have to say this was the worst solo of the night. She wasn't even dancing, she was just running around the stage. Sliding around. It was bad.
-Sabra dancing to Better Not Touch by Shemekia Copeland -Sabra was working it. It was great.
-Lauren dancing to Last Night by P.Diddy ft. Keyshia Cole -It was bad, but it wasn't that great.
-Neil dancing to Better Man by James Morrison -Neil is a really good dancer, my advice is to do something different. He always does his signature moves.
-Danny dancing to Faver by Elvis Presely -It was alright. Im not to crazy about it.
-Dominic dancing to She's a Bad Mama Jama by Carl Carlton -Omg, Dominic solo was amazing. Using the chair was a fantastic idea. It was Insane. I loved it.
-Pasha dancing to Scott and Frans Paso Doble by Strictly Ballroom Soundtrack -I thought it was really cool, with the cape and everything, but it wall all arms. There was no actually dancing, but it wasn't as bad as Lacey's. HAHA.

Then it was time to reveal the bottom 2 girls:
1.Sara-Bottom 2
2.Lacey-Safe
3.Sabra-Safe
4.Lauren-Bottom 2


Cat then, told Sara and Lauren to go into the Danger Zone.
Now, Boys:
1.Neil-Bottom 2
2.Danny-Safe

I was really shocked that Neil was in the bottom. I was really expecting it to be Danny.
Before they announced who was leaving and who was staying. They had to have the musical guest who was OneRepublic performing Apologize. A song that Anya and Danny performed a contemporary routine to.
I think the show should get some better musical guest. The only good one for me was Fergie and Ludacris, everyone else was blah. LOL.
Now it time to reveal who was eliminated and I am not very happy with the girls results and I was really angry.
Eliminated were:
1.Sara-Shocked
2.Dominic-Kind of saw it coming.
I am so angry that Lauren didn't leave. How is she staying, Sara was amazing on Wednesday, but I know for a fact that Lauren will be leaving next week. I wonder who is going to be in the bottom with her. No way is she going to make it to the finale over Lacey and Sabra...They have more fans. I kind of feel bad that Lauren gets in the bottom so much, but whatever it's all a game now.

SYTYCD Top 8 8/1/07

Hey Everyone...Last's night's performances were great...It was also a 2 routine dance night...Yay..Let's review:
Sara && Danny were up first with their first routine. A Argentine Tango choreographed by Alex Dasilva.

I thought this routine was HOT...It was hilarious when they had to clipboard for Danny's protection and it said yes and no haha...I loved the pretzel move she did it was awesome...Danny did like a gazillion pirouttes it was amazing. I wish I could do that. HAHA. Oh and Sara's boots were HOT..lol

Lauren && Dominic were up second with a Krump choreographed by Lil' C

This was an OK routine, Lauren was hitting it hard and Dominic was getting all the facial expressions right. So, I thought they had what each other needed. LOL. I can't believe Lauren fell. At first, I thought it was apart of the routine, but when Nigel asked about it, she actually did fall. It was crazy. I would have never thought someone would fall, but hey anything can happen on a show like this.

Up Third were Lacey && Neil with a Latin Jazz choreographed by Maria Torres

What a way to get votes Neil...Don't wear a shirt...I don't think it was his fault that he didn't wear a shirt...I guess the stylist told him not to, but I am happy they did, because it was a pretty nice view..HAHA...I totally agree with Adam when he said that Lacey doesn't connect with her partner, she is always looking out into the audience..It is a bad habit, but I did like the routine.

Sabra && Pasha were fourth with a Broadway routine choreographed by Tyce Diorio

I LOVED it...It was amazing.. I love broadway...they are always so fun and fun to watch and you can tell that Sabra and Pasha were enjoying themselves...They were definitely the best couple of the night. It was so cute with the little boy holding the sign that said "When I grow up I want to be like Pasha" awwwww...How adorable. Love them.

Then, it was time for round two.

Sara && Danny were up again with a Hip-Hop routine choreographed by Shane Sparks.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...were their costumes hilarious. Adam was cracking on them for like ages...LOL...Sara did great she outshined Danny. It was crazy the background between Shane and Danny and how Shane didn't want Danny in the Top 20. WOW..I didn't know that...Nigel was saying something like Sara was doing it to good and her and Danny had to be at the same level...something like that...I was like WHAT?!...she was so good, so he shouldn't be saying that. Sara is one of my favorites. Actually, my only favorite girl.

Lauren && Dominic-Rumba-Tony Meredith

This routine was HOT...I like it alot...Lauren almost fell again..She was like about to trip..I CAN'T BELIEVED THEY KISSED AT THE END..I wonder if that was planned or Dominic was getting into the moment.HAHA...It did remind me of Dominic and Sabra's rumba, because of the lighting and the clothing...It looked all very similar, but it was a great performance.

Lacey && Neil-Contemporary-Mia Michaels

One Word:BEAUTIFUL. Very emotional, great acting between the two. Lacey can really pull off the little girl look. I believed she was a little girl and I believe Neil was the Older man. It was great...alot of people crying. Mary must be going through some tuff times now, because she was just crying buckets lol...Mia Michaels has fianlly got her swager back. Another good routine.

Sabra && Pasha-Quickstep-Tony Meredith

LOVED IT...It was soo cute...Season 3 is making the quickstep better...Their outfits were hilarious, but it went with the song. So props to them, they were the best couple of the night...WOO go Pasha and Sabra.

I wonder who will be in the bottom 4 and who will be leaving. Let me know who you think is leaving tonight and I will be doing a review of the show tomorrow. Until then, Peace.
